Genile Moses of RBC outlasts Falomi Marcano of First Citizens (3 times Aerobics Winner) to win the CariFin Games Aerobics Burnout 2014.

Everyone enjoyed themselves, even the first timers, as well as the people who were there to support. They were glad to be a part of the CariFin Games.

Top3femalePort of Spain, Tuesday, May 20, 2014. The CariFin Games Aerobics Burnout which took place on Wednesday May 14, 2015 at the Queen’s park Savannah opposite TGI at 5.15 pm lived up to the expectation of fun, fitness and excitement. The Aerobics Burnout was the fourth event of the CariFin Games schedule. It was well supported by the hardcore aerobics participants who practice their sport regularly on a weekly basis as well as those who just came out for the sweat or to represent their team on the day. It made a mixed display of those just there to represent their teams as well as the exciting competition from those who were there to win.

Lenwyn Headley, event manager remarked, “I think it was a great display of athleticism, the new venue was excellent, the competition was excellent and it lived up to all expectations.”

Genile Moses was the last person standing after a grueling and intense 52 minutes of exciting CariFin aerobics action. Three time winner Falomi Marcano had to settle for second spot this year having been shown the red card in a time of 51.45. In third place was Riana Harrinauth of Republic Bank in 50.40.

The male showing was not on par with the females but Duane D’Abreau and Christopher Reid of Guardian Group proved the best among the males finishing 1st and 2nd in 45.04 and 41.40 respectively with Kevon Joseph of Scotiabank taking 3rd spot in 36.21.

At the end the overall winner Genile Moses was elated and said, “It was a great over whelming feeling. Last year I was in the top 10. I said I had to win this competition. It was one of my goals for 2014 and I accomplished it.”

CariFin Games is in its 23rd Edition and it mainly functions to promote health and fitness among the staff of the financial sector.

Our next event is cricket and football on Saturday May 24, 2014 at Republic bank sports facilities in Barataria. The games start from 12. noon
