Kerri Paul the GHL representative is the new Ms. CariFin (Caribbean Financial Institutions) for 2012. The Pageant which took place at Sevilla golf club compound in Couva, brought down the curtain on the CariFin Games. Ms. GHL was able to maintain that winning edge to the end to make sure that Team GHL would have its 1st lien on the Ms. CariFin title in it’s 8th Edition. Despite the very competitive field which included 4 times consecutive winner – Central Bank represented this year by Kerry Wyllie.
Ms. Paul didn’t find an easy path to the Ms. CariFin Title, as 4 times title holder and present holder of Ms. CariFin, Central Bank representative – Kerry Wyille made it quite difficult and gave her a run for her money. It was down to the wire, head to head competition and only in the last item – the aerobics workout that the winner could have been decided.
The aerobics workout was quite competitive as all the competitors were good exponents of the discipline of aerobics and gave a great show. The instructor was Neil Diaz of Fitness Center Limited.
The question and answer segment had great responses from the crowd as they were well answered and was a great source of entertainment for the large crowd who lapped up every bit of the evening’s show.
Each entrant in the Ms. CariFin competition had to do a cross country event, Ms. Central Bank Kerry Wyille and Kerri Paul of GHL, did the one lap fun run with Ms. Wyille the eventual winner.
Menisha Neptune of Scotiabank did the walking event and placed 7th.
Ms. First Citizens – Sarah Radday did the female cross event and was the 1st entrant to ever run the 2 lap cross country event and placed 9th.
