This big clash of the financial services sector took place on Wednesday April 22, 2015 at 5.00 p.m. – the 1st event in 24th Edition of CariFin Games.
CariFin Fans are waiting with anticipation and excitement for the results of what some described as the most closely contested CariFin games 1 Lap Savannah event ever. This seems from all indication to be the “Big clash of the financial services sector at the Queen’s Park Savannah” yesterday evening (Wednesday April 22, 2015.) Comparing last year’s performance s from the top performers in the financial industry very little spaces separated them apart. Come Wednesday there no doubt to be some scores to settle, uneasy is the head that wears the crown and from all indication from the word go all guns would be blazing. But the 2014 winners of this event by a nose seems to think he again has the edge. “I have something for them for this event!”
The teams on board for 2015 is as follows: Republic Bank, First Citizens, RBC Bank, Guardian Group, Scotiabank, Unit Trust Corporation, Grace Kennedy, Sagicor and IBL Bank and all are anxiously waiting to descend on the Queen’s Park savannah and represent and bring fame and glory to themselves and their teams, and institutions in particular.
Kristy Comissiong Sagicor’s 2015 team leader emphasized that her team’s spirit was high, everyone tried to do their best, and its one of the biggest teams they ever had. What is so special about this team? A unique mix of admin and sales staff …. We have grown in terms of readiness and we are excited.”
We have a wonderful history and we have always done well, and I don’t see any reason to doubt our ability now. My team was very excited to come out and do their best. Joella Richardson-Gittens of Guardian Group who is heading this very popular team in CariFin for the 1st time, and she aims to lead them triumphantly.
