Ryan O’Neal the Champion

The ability to achieve 1st place in all 4 athletic events at CARIFIN may seem far-fetched and would be an achievement to be marveled at. During this year’s CARIFIN 2015 games, this feat was accomplished by one man …. Ryan O’Neal. Ryan O’Neal was participating under the Guardian Group banner and he made significant contributions towards Guardian Group’s dominance at the games. Ryan is just one spoke in the well-oiled Team Guardian wheel and he made integral contributions to the entire team’s success to win the title of overall CARIFIN 2015 team champion.

Ryan is the embodiment of the CARIFIN watchwords – FUN, FITNESS & FRIENDSHIP. As an avid athlete, with his base in football, he honed in on his skills and was successful at being crowned the top male athlete in his team for the 2015 Games. Coming from a football background, he was able to conquer the long distance events and portray stellar endurance levels, speed and discipline to cop the gold in all events in which he participated.

His abilities were not only limited to the individual athletic events, but he also excelled and displayed team spirit and participation during the team events – football and cricket. Ryan displayed a well-rounded demeanor not only in competitive events, but how to have good fun and enjoy the novelty events hosted during the Family Day. Reaching early to lend his voice, support and enthusiasm to his Team Guardian members during the family day and even display his strength with the team in the tug-of-war event.

Ryan O’Neal is definitely a vital member of Team GuardiaWinningTeamGGn’s 2015 success, but unfortunately, 2016 won’t see Ryan donning the Guardian Group’s colours. As reported by the team, Ryan has joined another team and would display the same amazing skills and attributes that Team Guardian has known. Ryan has left Team Guardian to become a member of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) and with his great team-working skills, drive and discipline, the TTPS is lucky to have him in their ranks. His Guardian Group family and his new CARFIN friend would miss him at future events, but Ryan will be able to share his experiences and what he has learnt with his new team members.
