“Republic Bank, the Caribbean Financial Institution of Choice for our Staff, Customers and Shareholders.
We set the Standard of Excellence in Customer Satisfaction, Employee Engagement, Social Responsibility and Shareholder Value, while building successful societies”
Republic Bank’s Vision Statement
With the above in mind, Republic Bank strives to become the institution of choice for our staff and engages its employees in various activities. By participating in the Carifin Games, we challenge our employees to build camaraderie amongst their Republic Bank peers and those in the financial sector, through friendship, fitness and fun.
Republic Bank has always been a keen competitor in the Carifin Games. The staff participation is from “captain to cook” with one of our top performers being Nigel Baptiste, one of our Executive Directors. Other top performers in the 2013 running category are Clint Adiah, Joel Joseph, Etienne Bellamare and Kishan Roopchand. Not to be out-done by the men, our ladies outnumber the men 2 to 1. Our top female runners are Angel Barkeley, Margaret Ann Lawrence, Sue Ann Sarabjit and Lynette Nanton. When it comes to the walking category, veterans Terrance Worrell, Brian Fraser and Curtis Weekes are always stepping it up, along with our ladies Roxanne Guy-Edwards, La Toya George and Avianne Antoinne. We are proud of Mumtaz Amarali who placed 2nd in the Aerobics Burnout.
Over the years, Republic Bank has dominated the Cricket, Football and All Fours competitions. After an absence last year, we will be coming out again in full force this year!
Republic Bank’s Ms. Carifin representative is yet to be decided, but we are confident she will create waves at the Family Day.
Republic Bank remains committed to engaging and encouraging our employees in a healthy lifestyle, promoting the camaraderie amongst the financial institutions, and living the theme of 2013Carifin Games, “Forging Friendship through Fitness and Fun”.
